Can you help me if I'm relocating from out of state?

Yes, and I work with relocating buyers remotely all the time. Several things work differently in Texas — no state income tax but higher property taxes, sale prices not being public record, MUD districts, and no conventional zoning in Houston — and it helps to understand them before you start touring.
